Job Description: Will be working in a call centre taking calls from the public. Duties to include ensuring all customer enquiries received by phone, fax email or any other method are recorded accurately using both computer and manual systems. To communicate with officers within the Council where service issues have been reported by customers and passing work instructions to relevant officers or contractors. To liaise with Council officers and contractors regarding the management of customer contacts, work progression and service issues. Previous experience of call centre or customer services is essential as are PC skills. Ability to deal with difficult customers in a busy environment.
