Job Description: Must have a Mechanical Engineering background, with experience of modern CNC machining methods and Electro-mechanical assemblies, engineering planning and quotation from customer drawings and procedures, be computer literate including Word, Excel etc and be a team player with a flexible attitude. Must have a recognised Engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent). Knowledge of UHV Technology, CNC programming and quality systems would be an advantage. Duties include the preparation of detailed quotations including generation of BOM & Production plan routing using Production Control System, technical customer support, supplier liason at all levels, control of Engineering projects, problem solving, providing Technical support to the Production area, designing of jigs & fixtures to aid manufacturing and the implementation of Customer Engineering change prior & during production. |
