Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Providing 1st and 2nd Line Helpdesk Support to external clients using custom software.
b) Supporting internal network users.
c) Troubleshooting hardware issues and building/configuring new machines inc PC\'s.
d) Following procedures for fulfilment of client orders.
e) Assisting the Support and IS Manager as and when required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Knowledge and Experience of 1st and/or 2nd Level IT Support Helpdesk.
b) Administering and supporting Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems (in particular XP and Vista)
c) Knowledge and experience of Networking including TCP/IP
d) Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
e) Working knowledge and experience of Windows Server networking components including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange
f) Knowledge of Network hardware, including Cat 5 cabling, routers, switches and wireless access points
g) Building PC\'s from their essential components
h) Acquainted with the maintenance and use of a variety of PC\'s and other hardware
i) Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
j) Own car and clean driving license

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) MCP or MCTS Certification.
